Thanks Parker for waking Mama up at the usual 6:00 am even on a Sunday otherwise I would have missed a conversation on NPR about pie making with Beth Howard. Beth has a theory that the world would be a better place if more folks gathered around to spend some time over a slice of pie. I like that thought and decided I was going to make an apple pie today. It's sad but it seems I only see my friends these days on special occasions. I figure sharing pie is as good a reason to hang out as any (as if you needed an excuse to hang with friends).
