La Cienega Boulevard

The eclectic and beautifully curated shops on La Cienega Blvd. have been a draw to the best designers in the world and design junkies like myself. My decorator had suggested early on that we visit the shops and I am glad we did because we both fell in love with the mirror above from Downtown Outside, the sister store to Downtown 20th. I headed over yesterday to get another photo of it and get the dimensions accompanied by my friend Georgina. I am sorry to say it is too big to hang in my powder room and I am trying to figure out where I might be able to place it in my house. I met one of the very stylish owners of Downtown Outside, David Serrano, and he was kind enough to give my friend Georgina some advice on galleries in W. Hollywood she should look into for a show of her work. Aside from shooting portraits and pictures, Georgina also has a series of roomscapes and trees that are beautiful and haunting at once. All in all, it was a very productive day for the both of us.

  1. Love it down La Cienega...I swear all the best design shops are conveniently all located in WeHo and a mere walk from the famed blvd. I have to check out their newly redesigned shop but will hafta go take a gander judging from that exquisite vignette. Love the mirror arranged in a group, but I bet that orange one would look fantastic alone. Thanks for the tip!
